Perfectly pleasant stay, as always. Incredibly friendly hotel in a good position on the lifeguarded beach. Location adjacent to the garden, the centre of the village, and the forest with Rodney and Bridget. Again, walking distance to Village de Cledat...

The decoration of the hotel was simply lovely, with a charming and cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and beautifully decorated, creating a soothing environment for relaxation. As a senior woman, I greatly appreciated the hotel's accessibility, with everything conveniently located on one level and easy to navigate. It made my stay much more comfortable and enjoyable.
I would have liked to see more assistance available for senior people, such as handrails in the bathrooms or additional support in the rooms. The children working there were lovely, but having some extra help specifically catering to the needs of senior guests would have made my vacation even better.

During my recent stay at L'Ancienneposte, I was amazed by the peaceful location. I could sleep with the window open and enjoy the tranquility of the surrounding area. The village itself was charming, with a lovely boulangerie just a short stroll away for delicious pastries and baguettes. The nearby lakes were a highlight, offering a safe and beautiful place to swim with my family. I also enjoyed exploring the Roman ruins and taking in the breathtaking view at Mont Bessou. The hosts, Sharon and Janey, were perfect and made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this wonderful bed and breakfast for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

I loved gazing at the garden views while sipping my coffee at breakfast. Such a shame I couldn't bring the garden home with me.
Oh, how I loathed the Mouriéras being a mere 3.1 km away. Such a nuisance, isn't it?

The location was great, right in the heart of the village. It was a short walk to all the shops and cafes, which was super convenient. Also, it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful considering how central it was. We had no trouble getting a good night's sleep. Another advantage was the friendly and easy-going hosts. They created a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, especially during breakfast at the communal table. It was nice to meet and chat with other guests.
There were a few downsides to our stay. the room was a bit disappointing.
